Park Mansions is a gracious, seven story Victorian apartment building, thoroughly modernized and situated in one of the most prestigious locations in London.  This landmark building at the corner of Knightsbridge and Brompton Road is in the centre of one of the best shopping and residential districts in the city. 

The third floor apartments satisfy the travelers' need for comfort and quiet. All rooms are charmingly furnished to the high standards of one's home rather than those of rental units. The one-bedroom apartment sleeps two comfortably, and a third/fourth can be accommodated on the sofa bed in the living room. The two-bedroom has two bathrooms, and works out nicely for three or four people, or a family, and likewise has a sofa bed, so up to six can be accommodated. Both apartments face  the courtyard of the building so guests can rest before a night on the town undisturbed by the bustle of London's shopping district.

There are many fine shops in the surrounding area. Harrods is located a short walk down the street, and there are no less than nine eating establishments within fifty steps serving foods from around the world.  In addition, the major tourist attractions, museums, and theatres are but moments away.  

The Knightsbridge Underground station is across the street providing easy access to Heathrow Airport and all of London. Taxis and buses are also readily available outside the building. The surrounding area is considered upscale, well-lighted, and safe.

Cleaning and linen service are provided twice a week, and a porter is on duty at the main entrance twenty-four hours a day.

Who Are We?

I am John Doncaster, originally an Englishman, and was the founding headmaster of the Selwyn School, in Denton, Texas, for 32 years from 1957 to 1989. With my wife, Robin, we have owned the flats since 1982 as a home when we are in London, and as separate short-term rental units at other times.
